Quick Start Guide

How to run this printer server?
1. Launch the printer app, the app window will be displayed in the middle of the screen.
2. If you close the app window, you can still find the printer icon of the app in the status bar at the top of the screen, and click on the menu to show the app window again.
3. If you want to quit this app, click the printer icon on the status bar and select "Quit Air Printer” from the menu to exit app.

How to print to HP/Canon/Epson... printer?
In preparation, You must connect your HP/Canon/Epson... printer to Mac via USB cable or WiFi, then test whether the printing is successful.
1. Launch Air Printer and add the physical printers to the list of shared printers.
2. Go to "System Preferences/Printers & Scanners", find the shared printer and add it to your system.
(Alternatively, skip to step 2 and install and use the shared printer on the printing window directly)
3. Try to print any documents on your mac, ensure the shared printer is selected, the app will receive and forward job to the physical printer automatically.
Tips: You can easily share physical printer in the home or company network, print files from Mac, PC or mobile devices anywhere, and improve work efficiency.

How to setup?

Firstly, You must connect your physical printer wirelessly to your local area network, or connect it to your Mac via USB cable, then add the printer to mac system, at last test whether the printing is successful.
Second, launch Air Printer on your Mac and add the printers in your system to Air Printer app's list of shared printers.
Finally, after completing the printer sharing, other computers and mobile devices on your network will automatically search for the printer, so that other devices can also use the printer.

Troubleshooting

Q: After the Air Printer last v2.0.2 update, my phone didn’t find any Printer any more!
Due to Apple Store restrictions, the AirPrint driver is currently hidden and deleted, we are sorry about it.
A: Even so, There are a lot of useful settings here that you can play, such as the User access is a cool option, we recommend you to find it in the printer website settings, you can try to open the printer webpage, after logging in (the default username and password are: admin/password), enter the user access panel, open the user access control to enable the printer password access, More useful settings will be launched...

1. After launching Air Printer app, click Air Printer above the status bar and select "Show printer web page".( here may need to pay to upgrade first)

2. After opening the web page, enter the default administrator password (admin/password), and then enter the printer description page.

3. Switch to the User Access panel and Turn on "User Access Control", After a while, the page will automatically refresh.

4. Finally you can add a new user password to the printer, or modify the settings you need.

5. You can set a password to strengthen the security of the printer.

Note: After you modify the settings, please restart the app firstly.
After you enabled printing thought wifi, you could disable the User Access Control to print without a printer password.
After you add a physical printer to share, You also need to enable printing for that physical printer on admin webpage manually again.

6. By the way, you can Go to "Printers and Scanners" in the "System Preferences" app, find & select "Air Printer", then click "Options & supplies", you could open the printer web page too.

Print with AirPrint

Open the app that you want to print from.

To find the print option, tap the app’s share icon —  or  — or tap .

Scroll down and tap  or Print. If you can’t find the print option, check the app’s User Guide or Help section. Not all apps support AirPrint.

Tap Select Printer and choose an AirPrint-enabled printer.

Choose the number of copies or other options, like which pages you want to print.

Tap Print in the upper-right corner.
